The German Watch and Guard Dog Services PLC (Deutscher Wach- und Schutzhund Service, DWSS) is headquartered in Blumberg and was established in 1992. The company is a well-known service provider in the security, service and training industry in both the Old and New Federal States of Germany. One of our specialities lies in the deployment of police and guard dogs. DWSS PLC has established a good reputation as a reliable partner in particular in Berlin, Brandenburg, Frankfurt/Main and Munich and at shareholder meetings of international companies such as Siemens and DaimlerChrysler. The use of guard dogs is a very old tradition, which from in our opinion has not lost none of its importance. The Italian Petrus de Crescenti described the requirements on a guard dog in terms of appearance and characteristic already in his agricultural textbook in 1494. They do not differ much from the requirements of today.
Especially in times when the need for security is growing in the commercial as well as in the private sector, the guard dog still has his place in the security service, despite all technical surveillance options.
